What shall we do.

It's a bit quiet here recently, there isn't one person who wouldn't of noticed, and I am out of ideas. I'm not sure what to do.
So I am asking all of you, what activities can we do as a community to make things more exciting round here.
You can suggestion graphic related competitions if you like, but I'm not sure I'd do them, people seem to join and step down too often (as seen in the tournament), which is annoying for all of us.
Anyway, what can we do? We need something which will increase activity, serious competitions or just something silly and fun, suggest it all.

It's sad to see what's happening to the forum, I have been talking to eyeCandy some minutes now about 'the old days'
Actually the only real way to raise major activity is for someone starting with it.. because quite obviously the amount of CnC given these days is very low and I'm of course also part of that.. and once the new people don't get there pieces CnCed they will move away immediatly.
I'm not sure what to add to really raise the activity, competitions don't seem very managable now because there probably wouldn't be too many people entering (also because the tournaments often run into a stop because people enter but never finish their entry and people won't expect the next big thing to run succesfully)

I was thinking of maybe just a Spam section.. I mean there are quite some members around here that want to 'goof around' and speak their mind without always staying on topic. Just let the topic be created within the thread so people get introduced towards the topic while reading through the thread/participating in the thread. I've noticed that very often (in my case) I feel forced to stay with the topic even though you would like to add other subject to the thread.

We're actually pretty lenient with posting, as long as the OP is alright with a topic change it's fine. What we don't want is 2 members who aren't the OP going off-topic in his thread.

Someone mentioned something about spring break, but I don't think that's to blame.
Point out what is wrong with the forums now too, we can fix current problems instead of adding things if needed.

Shoutbox was implemented but removed like a week ago, people didn't use it at all. They were all complaining that: "It wasn't placed well" which is complete nonsense.. I mean if you want to have a conversation then you watch the shoutbox for updates.. It's not like when you're talking in real life the person you're talking to has to tap you everytime he's going to say something because if he wouldn't you wouldn't notice.

Yes, it's for real. We've had many guests visit for a long time.

That's annoying and won't work at all. There is many because the site is popular and optimized well for search engines.
